Strongly suggest sealing all the concrete at your house! Patio, drive way, sidewalks. It will keep it light grey longer. Looks amazing

What a great idea to buy cushions that hook over the back of the furniture. I live where it’s windy, so that’s something I’ll keep in mind whenever I get patio furniture. Your patio is so beautiful, I would spend so much time outside there. Enjoy your beautiful space 💙💙💙

Looks wonderful! We’ve only been In our home 2 years, had to go through the travertine, landscaping adventure too. Our 4th new build. Word of advice, find somewhere on that covered patio to hang a ceiling fan. Run it 24/7 at least on low. This will help with bugs but mainly it keeps the birds from nesting in odd places on your covered patio and destroying it. Took us 3 houses to figure this out and we’ve done that on this patio. Works wonders. We live in AZ.

Because you’re always a HUGE source of inspiration for me when I am designing or decorating our outdoor deck- it’d be cool to see a video of hacks that you use to keep your patio looking nice. We also combat some MAJOR** wind issues, and we also have two fur babies. It’d be cool to see things that you do on the daily to keep the patio looking nice. I feel like we’re always fighting some issue keeping our patio nice looking- wind, muddy paws, dust from our dirt road, ect. Haha.

I love everything about your patio! So well thought out. A great space for fun with family and friends alike! Ashely, I want to share something with you about my little Yorkie so you know about what can happen to some Yorkies. Our little guy was very tiny. His top weight was 6 lbs. About 5 years ago, he started to cough and gag to the point that we felt a Vet visit was necessary. After his examination, it was determined that he had a slightly collapsed trachea which happens to a lot of Yorkies. WHAT? WHY? It is because we just wore a collar on him and used that same collar to walk him. We also had him professionally groomed and the groomers used a loop around his neck to keep him from falling off of the table! We then converted to using a harness to walk him! I wish I had known about this before it happened. We had to give him cough suppressants until his death! My husband and I felt like we should share part of our story so you would know this could happen to Tyger! (God for bid). You take such beautiful care of your home and family. I love you guys! Hi Ashley , The make over looks beautiful. I’m from Florida and we have a concert pool and patio around it. We cover our concrete with what we call cool coat it doesn’t get hot so we can walk on it in summer....but it comes in many colors and textures... Hope all works out it looks beautiful..

Usually concrete saws have water to keep blade cool and keep dust down...they were coming close to that new sectionals with that dust....it gets everywhere

The patio looks beautiful Ashley! The furniture is so cozy. That fire pit is a show stopper!! It is unfortunate you have had some issues with the patio, but I know you’ll figure everything out as always. Stained concrete when done properly can be absolutely beautiful. They can make concrete look like bricks, tiles, etc. the possibilities are endless. Looking forward to part 2. Sorry I’m so late to the game. I suppose I’m better late then never showing up. Hey Ashley and Chase -we had our concrete sprayed -- I chose black and love it ...it’s so easy to clean ...btw my roof is black xx just a thought if the different colours don’t buff out xxx also I’m Australian so yes I have spelt colour the Australian way 🤪 love you guys sooo much

Man that was quite the process! It turned out great. It seems like with my mom's driveway the concrete dried multicolored like your patio and it took months and months but the tone finally evened out. I'm anxious to see the process the pros use.

Did you know you can have you concentrate decorated and stained? It can be very beautiful and be designed to any design that you can think of. I worked doing it for a little while. You should check it out. I love your new house!

Have you thought about concrete porch paint? We’ve done all our cement and it makes such a difference. It’s cheap and very durable. Love how you decorate.
