I met Tim on his front porch in Oregon Hill around ten years ago and he gave me a burned CD of the Laurel St. Demo. Caught up with him for a second at Fest and he remembered our run in. He's good fucking people.

I was going to go see murder by death with a friend (they were meh) and when I saw his name on the Bill I googled it and realized he was from Avail, not a band I am that into but that my wife ADORES. His performance opening for murder by death blew them out of the water in terms of energy and left my wife in tears.

So good! Love the folk revival and how different than Avail, which was amazing in its own right
