@@Theprophet004Because he contradicts himself. He said that Duncan had a model organization when they only made one conference finals before him and haven't won after him. He says Duncan had help and was in a great system but his own list of the greatest players has Kareem and Magic in the top 5. So two top 5 players on the same team but he doesn't count it against them but somehow it's counted against Duncan. Neither of Duncan's teammates were on the top 75 list besides Robinson, but Robinson wasn't in his prime when Tim joined. Robinson averaged 8 points 8 rebounds in the 2003 season.

@@nbng7 He has a video on his top players of all time. I specified 2003 because that's when Tim Duncan won a championship. At that time, Robinson was out of his prime. He actually retired that year too. Manu and Tony were rookies too.

⁠ @kingcam Why wasn’t he the best in the league? He has the mvps to prove it. He has a better career and longevity than Magic and Bird and won it all just as much. Tim Duncan came the closest ever to going 6 for 6 in the finals after the Jordan era. Let that sink in… Tim has 2 of the best playoff runs of all time, a top ten playoff performance of anyone ever, the most defensive team selections of anyone ever, he finished top 5 in mvp voting 9 times (Which is the exact same number of times as both Bird and Magic) And honestly, I’d argue his run against the lakers is all time great above anyone not named Jokic, Giannis, Jordan, and Lebron; but considering the CRAZY competition he was facing (Shaq and Kobe, and the most stacked conference in NBA history) his performance is only dwarfed by Lebron’s. He’s one of the few players whose stats go up in the playoffs and every year. I’d also argue Timmy basically won it all with no all-NBA type of help multiple times, and he’s probably done more with less and any of those greats you mentioned. I could go on and on about why Timmy is the goat 😂, but really he’s number 4 on my list.
