Always enjoy your posts. Such great material and I am fascinated by the animals. I am sorry that your ability to put out game cams in some areas has been restricted. I understand the reasoning behind it but it still is aggravating. I have always thought that you have acted with the best in interest of the animals and areas in mind. Thank you for all your hard work to create and share such stellar content! Take care and be safe out there! Can't wait for your next adventure. 👍👍☺☺

Amazing trail camera pick up again. Thank you for all your effort in getting to and from the cameras. It gives people like me a chance to see a part of your country that I probably will never see. I am so pleased that you leave the natural sounds in and do not add music. Its as though I am right there when I hear the sounds of nature. Thank you again.

Actually Florida bear don't hybernate. It's all muscle. In Ocala in North Florida have some of the largest black Bear's in the United States. They just trapped one in south Ocala that was ripping the side's of Barn's off. They brought it to Northeast Ocala where our weekend house is it weighed three pounds under the state record. It weighed out at. 624 pounds.

Bear noses are something like 100 times more sensitive than those of a bloodhound. That means the bears detect traces of Tim's scent months even months after he last touched the camera. So, they're probably curious, anyway, and if the bears associate the smell of humans with the smell of food (garbage, campgrounds not cleaned up, anything) then they'll check out the camera. That's why a lot of campgrounds here in Colorado have "bear-boxes" welded from heavy-gauge steel plates. Bears can smell food left in a car, even, and if they see a cooler, in there, they'll break a window and climb in. And you sure don't want to leave snacks in a tent. This was exactly the sort of chill, pleasant video I needed to end my day with. Thank you.

Hi Mr. Harrell! Wow, the start of your recovery walk, all those prints! I paused several times to see what you were describing. Those tell a whole story themselves. 😊 I'm sure just like cats that bear and other mammals, have glands that secrete a pheromone laced greasy scent for the next guy to find, next guy comes along, rinse, repeat. I've wiped similar way smaller amounts from trim corners where all 3 cats mark. Or company put it there. But by all means, keep rubbing all over it! 😊Thank you for continuing to entertain us!

I love your videos! I wish some of your places didn’t put restrictions on where you can set up your cams. I don’t totally understand why you can’t. It’s obvious you are not causing harm to wildlife. I love seeing animals that I don’t see in NE Ohio. About once a year a bear will wonder from Pennsylvania through my area. (Im in Lake County) I hope I get to see it one day. I heard a mountain lion while tent camping in West Virginia. It was in the night and it was so very cool but bone shaking scary! It was much like your alligator incident. I will never camp in that area again. It was up on a mountain in the middle of nowhere. Only 4 primitive sites and no one around for20 miles or more. Thank you, Tim for the wonderful video and can’t wait for the next!

Officially there are no mountain lions in WV but most outdoorsmen here know there are a few around especially in the National Forest. I saw one about 40 years ago and have talked to other hunters since then that have seen them.

That was what a ranger said when I reported it to him. And he also said that others have heard the same thing in that area. Just before the conversation ended he said, “just remember there are no Mountain Lions in WV.” Based on his tone and body language I have a feeling the forest service would like people to know (or think) there aren’t any. Maybe to protect the from poachers? Regardless, there is no doubt what we heard. It was calling many times as it was walking through. It was very close and loud.

Tim, a couple years ago I started with one cam. First capture was from inside culvert facing out. The Bobcat footage was too cool. Over the next couple months, I was hooked. And that led to me watching your videos. Sure love your videos and style of presentations. Fully addicted now, probably headed towards Trail Cam Rehab sooner or later. If you ever get to Colorado, I would love to hang with you a day or two. Sure would be great to spend a day pulling SD cards and swapping knowledge with you and making a video out of it. One thing that I have added to my set's is always throwing in a bird perch in view, rather up close. It's unbelievable, with the right esthetics and placement how much birds will use that perch. Thanks for the great videos. Ron Griese - Mount Antero Treasures - cast member. Ron Griese Face Book. Cam on Brother!!

I was wondering when you were going to post another video just this afternoon! Is that a Melaleuca those bear were straddling, and the small bear busted up? I lived in South Florida for a bit as a kid,(50+ years ago) and I remember it having a strong sorta Vick's Vaporub smell to it. The Old Timers called it a "Punk" tree. Whatever it is, it must be to bears what catnip is to cats!? Always enjoy the videos, Tim.....keep'm coming.

Good afternoon. I really like your videos, but I'm apprehensive, I'm afraid of walking in the forest, 99% of the time I also go alone, this year I've already recorded 8 pumas here on my trail cameras. Remembering that in Brazil there are no bears, and in my region only pumas and no jaguars. Your videos are adventurous, I would say like Bear Grylls. Here in Brazil, there's a channel I watch that features a person hiking alone in the woods, but with incredible video editing. I'll leave the link if you want to see it. It is possible with English subtitles. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r6eeq7ad3ajSnp8.html Always following your channel. Thanks for sharing. Erik from Brazil. Note: I watch your videos with the KZfaq translation into Portuguese.
