Tim O’Brien is an insane flatpicker. Top 10 best flatpickers of all time. He makes it look too easy, there is no chance that someone ever covers this version.

Simply brilliant rendition for eternity

His is, without a doubt, the best interpretation of this song. The fast tempo and liberties taken with the chords really make it feel like chaos. Almost like a ship on the ocean battling the storm. You can picture it so clearly. And Tim’s voice is flawless.

Tim's Bob Dylan cover album "Red on Blonde" is one of my favorites. His album of duets with Darrell Scott is also fantastic.

LOVE Tim's interpretive rendition of this Dylan classic. (Guitar... mando... banjo... don't matter, Tim can play 'em all.)
@davepowell64626 жыл бұрын
Can't help but think Dylan would be giving two thumbs up as Tim captures this song quite well with all of the vocal nuances he puts in against the bare guitar work.
