With immense gratitude and respect for inventor Tim Jennison's herculean dedication to testing out a theory that the great 17th century Dutch artist, Johannes Vermeer, used mirror optics to create his groundbreaking masterpieces. Having seen the amazing film, "Tim's Vermeer" (directed and produced by Penn & Teller) documenting Jennison's obsessive journey, I noticed one very glaring 'mistake' in the Vermeer painting that reminded me of John Dee's methodology in the Shakespeare subterfuge. I had a hunch Vermeer, like Dee, was using this seeming mistake to prod us to look deeper.

THANK YOU ALL for your comments. Please forgive my extended absence. I took over a year off to write and film Season One of a TV Series based on my 19 years’ research of the great Shakespeare mystery. I shall be posting details here within a few days so please stay tuned. I deeply appreciate your patience and continued support.

Or perhaps he moved the lettering so there's enough context to understand the whole phrase. Properly spaced, 'dolorum' would be almost completely obscured.

Thanks Alan. Just to point out that the Golden Mean intersection point (length and width measurements) meet at the Greek symbol on the player's back. The diagonal measurement also does lower left to upper right. The corresponding diagonal hits on the line of letters depicting Music as a holy thing. Geometry was the physics of understanding reality at the time and the viewer's eye and sensibility comprehends the harmony even though he may not know the formula. best wishes, Bill

Very nice Sir, love your decoding work of hidden meanings in the art of some of the great masters. Specifically about Shakespeare's references to the Great Pyramid, math and light. Can't help but think about Ningishzidda/Toth, the designer of the Pyramids and writer of The Emerald Tablets. Makes me curious if you ever looked into those writings. It seems obvious to me that there must be a relation. Since i got to know Zecharia Sitchin's work it intriges me more and more to learn about our true history and figure out how it relates to our present day. Your work and the polymath of Robert Grant fills in some pieces of the puzzle. Although hard to understand for me sometimes cause my knowledge of math and history is limited, it all seems to make perfect sense. So thank you for doing what you do Sir, looking forward to more insight in the bigger picture.

I'm not sure why Vermeer would have been encoding his pictures. I expect his colleagues and customers knew perfectly well how he was achieving his effects, so no need to send a secret message. His style fell out of favour after his death, so the knowledge of how it was created was forgotten.

I think in the documentary they said an artist's techniques in those times were extremely secretive, they imply probably no one except Vermeer knew his technique

I find it silly to see people dismiss these notions so easily. Becoming a master painter without being schooled by a master painter, isn't a trivial thing. Also, it would be a great secret to use technological aids and it makes perfect sense that he needs to encode these things, if he wants to get it off of his chest. As I recall, it was considered a true art to be able to draw reality this truthful. Just do some research on how long artist struggled with the principles of perspective. Let alone getting lighting and reflections right. Also people don't realize that back in the day, there was little forms of entertainment. People had time to figure stuff out, but knowledge was very scarce. You don't just pick up a book. Books were really expensive. I really like the fact that you have the eye for detail: as you said, the rest of the picture is drawn with so much precision, why get the letters wrong? Nobody needed to see the whole word in order to know what was written, is was a common phrase.

@@TheBardCode I too also took a 20+ year sabbatical in musical hibernation as a former Pentagon / Navy Flight Test and Wargames Engineer, to study the entire history of those hidden forces trying to suppress our higher Arts and Sciences through ungodly Usury (the money-changers), and that included some years doing literary criticism studies of all of Shakespeare's works. I'm glad of your musical covering the Bard, and I am using "Shakespeare's" own expose of the same money-changers (Merchant of Venice, Richard III, Troilus et Cresseda) to make my own musicals after the efforts of Wagner in his Ring Cycle, and Tolkien also in his Ring cycle, where Genocide is exposed due to an Elite who think they are the Master Race, and the rest of us Slaves. I'm beginning to explore your other videos, and like them so far, so long as there is no BS like "Ohh my Gawd, the Church suppressed Science and persecuted Galileo, and Shakespeare et al to keep us in the Medieval Ages!". That kind of Bullshit will not sit well with me, as a Trad Catholic, because real history is not the Francis Bacon (Masonic Enemy of the Church) and other well-funded moles implanted within our Church to divide it from within. The entire Protestant Reform was funded, as was Quohr-ahhn and Aryan Heresies, by the same money-changers who hate Christ, and want all of Christianity Destroyed. "Shakespeare" was purely Catholic, and had to write in code to prevent these money-changers who controlled Protestant usurper "queen" Elizabeth I, who had a worse Police State that USSR did under "Sir" Walshing(s)ham and the Cecils, Churchills et al. She was into the occult under John Law, and others. So the bottom line is modern science, the key milestones, health care all advanced learning institutions, Universities, etc., came from one Church, not Anglican, not Lutheran nor Calvinist, but Catholic. And "Shakespeare" was one of the True Catholics, as opposed to the Moles Implanted within the Church for 2000 yrs to make it look bad and to divide it from Within, like a 5th Column. This is a fact: Christ founded only One Church, not 32,000 Protestant spin-offs all funded by the money-changers to divide and conquer us Christians to get us to falsely accuse and kill off one another for their Profit like Sauron. Tolkien too, and Wagner, encoded this fact, and so did Frank Baum, the Wizard of Oz (Yellow Brick Road = Gold Standard imposed by Them to incite world wars for profit).

Míen dolor dos = my pain is two or Twice the pain/labor. No additional lettering required not my color quality not trickery no additional extensions of intent, no leap in concept. Trying to interpret intent from a mark on an object is a fool’s errand or fanciful imagining. There’s no objective reasoning to support such ideology. Not unless there’s some other supporting evidence such as a diary, notes or witness testimony.

In every painting bby Vermeer there is a pin hole present that he used to create perspective. With a wire from that pin hole, the vanishing point. Just like any other painter did at that time. There is not a single shred of evidence that Vermeer used a camera oscura. Only evidence against it... The pinholes in his painings. The fact that a camera sscura could only give a faded image at all when used indoors. No one who visited him at the time made any mention of a 'device' in his studio. When Vermeer died he did not leave one ehind either. There was no such device in his house. Tim's Vermeer is a pathetic theory y a jealous non believer of true talent. And what Timalso completely missed is that Vermeer's compositions are his true genious. His methods are not even that relevant at all. Tim could have invented the theory that Vermeer was atime traveller from the future. It would have een impossile to sisprove that theory just as it is impossible to disporve any assumptionaout the methods of ANY painter in history.

That's a lot of pouting hero worship. Hard to learn anything when you refuse to accept new data, conflicting information, or alternate theories. Also, Tim accepts that the composition is the major part of it. The rest of this is just a mechanical process, so it's his composition, his color, his "phrasing", so to speak, that is his true work. Tim acknowledges this. Lastly, don't forget that this theory is originally put forth by David Hockney using the math of the paintings and camera obscura, and then later corroborated by Phillip Steadman, long before Tim became involved. Tim's real contribution is the comparator mirror, and the refinement of the theory. NONE of this diminishes the genius of the artist, which is what you're fighting against. As Steadman states, even if you assume that he was using pinholes, string, and geometry, what's the difference? What's cheating and what's not? Why is Anything cheating? Everything is a tool.
