This music is inspired by the Edgar Rice Burroughs book A Princess of Mars, which is the first in the series of John Carter (Of Mars) books. This book was made (by Disney) in to a film called "John Carter" in 2012. He wrote 11 books in this series. Burroughs wrote the Tarzan of the Apes books too.

The trick is to become spirit while still remaining quintessentially human. That's the journey.

@@zachbos5108The spiritual path, ultimate union with a Supreme Reality, requires the adept to transform from a crude matter into a sublime spirit, not the other way around.

@@Lenny.262That's a misconception born of crediting Yaldabaoth with being the Demiurge. "Demiurge" is a misnomer, it created nothing. Understanding this reveals that the material world is not one of "crude matter," but rather that matter and spirit are one, as they always have been. Magic may feel distant in the Kali Yuga, but it is not otherworldly; rather it is part of the world's natural state. Union with the Supreme Reality is a matter of realization, not of escape. Samsara and Nirvana are the same place. You have been in the Pleroma all along, Pneumatic.

@@pentherapy You do realize that the demiurge is human ignorance, right? That's why it's known as a blind god, because ignorance breeds pride, and ignorance is totally used to create. Darwin said it best when he said that ignorance begets confidence more often than knowledge does. Ever heard of the Dunning-Kruger effect? That's when ignorant people think that they are smart. That's it, that's the demiurge. It's having a false sense of illumination. It's also primal rage, lust, spiritual blindness, etc. You take that understanding and apply it to the world and realize that that is what has built this world. That's the Rex Mundi: ignorance from the undeveloped ego.

@@pentherapy Just what do you think the demiurge is? It's human ignorance and it's the king of this world; the creator of our artificial, materialistic world.

A child was born in the past, the childs parents chose to name him Tim Stebbing. The child later grew to become an adult, along the way they learned how to write and produce music. The music was recorded and eventually uploaded to KZfaq. The rest, as they say, is history..... and nobody knows what the future holds!

@@greeneyes8313 incidentally, Tim Stebbing does have a band camp page. Although it is thin on his personal history, he does have this album and many more available to stream or purchase. The music he is producing today is every bit as good as his earlier stuff in my opinion. Go check it out!
