Sorry but I hated the promise. You shouldn't have to tell everyone how you were gonna play your hardest, you should already be doing that. Dont get me wrong I think Tim is a stud and part of the thing that bugs me about it is they should have in no way lost that game. But they got complacent and if you dont bring it 100% every game that can happen.

to be fair, taysom hill is an instrumental part of the offense but he's not a true quarterback. tebow's life in the nfl could've been longer but he didn't want to do what taysom did and line up in the slot or play special teams or line up in the backfield. he wanted to be a quarterback, and most teams didn't want him at just a quarterback.

He was the opposite of a winner in the pros. He was the polar opposite of a good quarterback in the pros. He had one decent streak in the pros against the worst of the worst in the NFL and was thoroughly exposed by the 2 good teams he faced ... and only won most of those due to the best D in the NFL that year. The only good game he had against a good team was the playoff game against Pittsburgh and that was basically a garbage game as well with one decent floated pass to one of the best receivers in the NFL that year who took it the distance. Dude was overrated and propped up by conservative Christians who wanted a “great white hope” Christian QB. Fact is that Tebow was just terrible.

@@Matt-tc1ml Oh, I watched him. My 2 teams are the Lions and the Patriots (Brady/UofM). I watched him alright. I watched him get absolutely destroyed by the 2 good teams he faced. His “streak” was against a run of the absolute worst teams in football that year. His D played lights out against the Steel. Tebow didn’t do cht except loft a pass to a wide open receiver (D.T. if I remember) against them. Dude was so wide open, I could have thrown THAT ball. Basically, he was a garbage, no-talent QB that got by on charisma and only was popular because he peddled his religion to those who’d listen. Anyone with who looked OBJECTIVELY at him knew he was trash ... and the NFL figured out really quickly that he was trash. That’s why he was out of football so early. He might be a decent commentator or coach or whatever ... but a player? No.

A lot of things in life can be measured. What Tebow had can't be. It's one of the mysteries of the NFL to me. Say what you will about Tim Tebow the man. Tim Tebow the football player is someone I am shocked isn't still on a team. Even if it were a backup gig. Dude just finds a way to win sometimes. Ask Pittsburgh. Oh and obviously... Go Dawgs!

Just had the pleasure of of meeting tim Tebow. He came and spoke at our church. Me being an Oklahoma fan I hated him and cheered for him to loose until I read his book “Shaken” while I was in rehab recovering from an opiate addiction. He talked about how embarrassed and hurt he was about not making it in the nfl and people started coming to him praying with him and telling him as long as god is ur foundation u will be successful and oh my goodness has he ever been. Nearly made the Met’s for goodness. But reading his book turned him from a guy I didn’t like all because he was on the other team to being in my top 5 people I ever wanted to meet. Thank u lord for giving me that meeting. An amazing young man Go out and read Shaken. He becomes vulnerable and u see a side of him that no tv can show u. Be blessed

I was a lifelong Die Hard Kentucky Wildcat fan. Born and Raised in KY. I live 5 min south of Cincinnati OH, So I’m a dedicated lifelong bengals fan as well. (So you know I’m loyal lol) it would be impossible for me to ever root for another NFL team. Tim Tebow literally took me from bleeding Blue for UK to being a Florida Gator fan. No other player could have done that. He was everything college football should be.

I remember when Alabama stopped McFadden and beat Arkansas in 08. That was the first time I got a hint that something great was finally brewing down in Tuscaloosa and then they almost went undefeated and took that great Florida team to the brink in the SEC championship but fell just short.

I loved Tebow, still do. He is one of the best and most exciting athletes I’ve ever watched. I don’t think he was ever truly given the opportunity to thrive in the nfl. He deserved more of a chance. And in my opinion there are teams out there that should have molded around him because to this days those same teams are still on loosing streaks as they were when Tebow was brought to the nfl
