He needed a fight like this - a nice test that he overcame. I reckon fights like this that go the distance and have an early knockdown fo overcome will teach him much more and make him a better fighter than just blowing out guys in two rounds . He has such power that he might rely on it too much but after this fight he learned to box much more and became more patient . Well done Tim.

Tim takes too many flush right hands imo, if he was in with a big puncher I hate to say he would be stopped. Still work to do in the gym and wish the best for the future

Tim has that jolting power that is difficult to learn or be gifted with, however he needs to keep better range as he is often too close just a half step. Better range ( a half step back to reset) will help him receive less punches and deliver more punches effectively to an opened up opponent. Also his peek a boo stance is excellent but needs to move his head defencively a lot more, he will be undisputed champ a long time as he is so powerful with lots of heart and he must not start going up divisions too early looking for opponents as bigger guys will cancel his edge in power. Very patient and workmanlike Tim in this fight. Well done. Hopefully the chickenbelt holders will Man up and meet Tim in the ring but, I doubt it.

Yeah Tim has definitely gotten better after this shaky start but eventual pretty clear win .His defence has improved and he looks overall a far sharper boxer now ..he had 3 fights last year .when he could have waited around ...knocked out Tony Harrison in a fight that was really a big risk for him ....he was in line for a title ..yeah he was a little long in the tooth but tony Harrison can fight .. then knocked out ocampo in about a minute .then fought and beat brian Mendoza who was coming off a knockout of Sebastian fundoora and really looked in good shape and turned up to fight but was ultimately overpowered and outclassed on the night but won a lot of fans in Australia with his toughness and overall persona ..I think Tim is becoming a really good boxer ..he's active ..he has taken on whatever fight comes his way quickly ..the Thurman fight if he wins will grow his name and brand etc in the USA.

Tim won thi fight by a country mile. The American just covered up against the onslaught. I think l saw many rounds 10/9 Tim’s way. Should have been 10/7 or 10/8.

Still a long way to go timmy.....you got hit too many times for my liking....need to improove, don,t just stand and deliver ... got to move side to side.....watch tyson in his prime ...gloves up, dodge, weave, up, down, side step and so on
