For me as a young amateur boxer in Australia he really was like Ali to me.... blah blah ramble ramble..... My point is watching Tim tonight had me feeling like I felt when I was a kid watching Kostya Tszyu fight. Sharmba Mitchell in alot of ways... I really did burst with so much pride & pure joy & cried & yelled & clapped... It felt like Australia winning the Americas cup in 1983 if i'm honest... THANKS TIM.... I'm so proud of you!

wow i really like Tony, and Tim, you can see the amount of passion and the amount of emotional depth each of them has had to go through to become who they are. It takes so much courage to be humble and keep your cool. I also from the area that Tim lives, and was next to him on a treadmill last year, the guy waved to me on the way out, really cool guy, but it's also a Australian thing too. I believe we are layed back. But i like that about Tony too, he's a lovely guy at heart. Huge respects to Tony i think that's what a real fighter means. Your identity isn't based on how strong you are or how tough, Its your attitude to life and fellow human beings to take it like a champ and praise the man who beat you takes such a man to do. Can't wait to go back to boxing. The world needs more people like this. Well done Tim....I remember watching you spar when you were super young. We sure are proud to be Australian.

Nothing Tim showed me tonight indicates he can beat Charlo. I’ll be watching but I’d be shocked if he is able to pull that off.

Man this fight Tony looked like he tanked on purpose, not saying he did but it just looked like it. He threw all jabs for 3-4 rounds straight never had pop to any other punch but his jab. Then faded as the rounds went on, Tim had nothing to fear just walked him down the whole fight. Tony’s game plan was horrible. It was not the same Tony that fought Charlo at all.
