@@gypsyman1939 That would be so bad for boxing. Fundora didn't even really deserve this fight, Spence is coming off of a dominant loss. The belts belong to the best fighter in the division. We need Tim to get the rematch and if Fundora then somehow wins again and retains those belts then they can get another fight for him. But I truly expect Tim to win dominantly in a rematch where he can even prepare properly for this tall dude.

This experience will only make him more prepared going forward. Tim was not able to see but was still slipping, and parrying punches and turning Fundora. Tim is one of my favorite fighters and babying an undefeated record just means you have not challenged yourself enough. Tim is a warrior and I wish him a speedy recovery.

I like how he took his L. All credit to Fundora I feel happy for him. Tzyu was dominating the first 2 rounds. The cut did half blind and weakened Tzyu. He was not the same after it. A rematch would be the right move for PBC in my opinion.

@Ihatebabykillers calm down big fella there is a rematch clause so they don't really need to push for it and the cut on his head isn't just a scrape and like they said in this video the round ended right as the elbow landed meaning Tims corner wasn't prepared to fix a cut in a terrible spot becuase they were already climbing up to the corner its not a case of just rubbing some Vaseline on it or whatever end of the day Tim could change nothing at all and still dominate in a rematch the elbow was just a freak accident.

The greatest legacy of this fight is the respect both men and their camps showed before, during and after this fight. We all know the cut turned events on this fight. But Tim never excused himself and said the better man won. Fundora did not comment either, and deserves the win because he did overcome what was looking to be another loss. Fundora’s nose and mouth were in bad shape and Tim was working him. Fundora has a big uphill to keep his belt as this division is truly filled with talent. Tim Tsyu will be back and has many great opportunities ahead. I am confident he can be in another championship fight very soon.

Tim Zhu separated himself from his father‘s legacy last night. Even though he lost, this was the fight he needed to cement his place. He showed that he was an ultimate warrior last night, and I have no doubt that he will bounce back and be champion again. we have to give Fundora credit to blood was leaking out of his nose like a water fountain so he had a handicap as well.

When Tim fought for 10 rounds with that type of cut, could hardly see and lost by a split decision, imagine what would have happened without the cut. Sadly his corner didn't have adrenaline on hand to staunch the cut, it would have bled less over the rounds. Tim will be back better than ever and he deserves a rematch. Kudos to Fundora, fought a smart fight flicking that jab out all the time. Can't wait for the rematch.

Great analysis and responses from Tims' team; an unfortunate way for Tim to experience his first defeat but he likely will regain his belts having become more grounded and stronger. Trying to punch the lights out of a street lamp post with one eye closed is a tall order 🙁

Despite the setback, Tim, you did a GREAT job with the heart of a warrior! Next time you'll NEED to use your trademark body shots which possibly could have turned the fight around.
