This is interesting to me. The story has always been that M.I.A. only had one song from Timbaland on her second album because she had visa issues working in the US and didn't have time to do more than one song with him. This beat is different, so I wonder if the one that made the album was the only one they had time to complete. If that album had 3 Timbaland songs on it, it would have been even more undefeated than it is.

Want to see something interesting. See Jay banging head at the beginning. That is him just grooving and feeling it. Then the next camera shot. Look at where is eyes are staring off to the left. He is staring off into the distance at nothing. That is him writing lyrics. I don't know if what he wrote right there made it on the album or not, but believe that look you saw in his eyes is him writing in his head. The rest of the shots he is writing the song until the end there where the song ends and he comes back to Earth. He has this puzzled look on his face like his is confused. To me, that's the same look you see when someone is solving a complicated problem like an engineering problem. I'm convinced he probably had Dirt Off Your Should about 50% "solved" before that beat ended.
