Nestled in the Shivalik Hills, the Timber Trail resort lies just off the highway leading to Kasauli and Shimla in Himachal Pradesh’s Parwanoo town. The resort has long been a major attraction to visitors passing along the highway due to the cable car. The cable car that remains open from 9am till 7pm, takes tourists from its hilltop to Timber Height, located on another mountaintop, around 1.8km from the resort. Situated above the Timber Trail Resort, Parwanoo resort offers a breath-taking view of the entire valley. Located amid Shivalik range, there are three resorts atop the mountain. Timber Trail packages are created to provide tourists with an experience to treasure. The ticket price for ropeway rides varies for adults and kids on per person basis. It is Rs 1250 for adults and Rs 1000 for children. The timings for the Cable Car are from 9:00 A.M to 6:00 P.M.
