What many ppl are missing is the fact that any type of building can transmit power to its neighbour buildings which is why they are highlighted blue when you place a building next to another one. So it's not needed to connect each single power consuming building with its own energy input p.s. just saw that someone else also mentioned it :)

One thing to add is for the Farmhouse, make sure at least one is set to "Plant Seed" as priority, otherwise you will have beavers trying to harvest all the crops before any new crops are planted. By having one of the Farming buildings focusing on planting new crops, you guarantee that fresh food will be growing while the rest of the crop is being harvested

These tips are so important! I tried playing four worlds in Timberborn but either drought or lack of food keeps killing off my village. So annoying but eager to learn more about this game :D

Severely underrated

but.. by time you cut the maple you can harvest 3x more birch nearly, it'll take a really long time to catch up to birch

There's an awful lot packed into this short video, thanks! [One of the hardest things when your first starting is figuring out 'the optimal early build sequence' and your tip about the high log use of the timber mill is a very good one as it points this structure being in that early sequence. I found myself running out of logs without the ability to build it first game...] Also another tip I got from a different video was that 'procreation' seems proportional to spare housing capacity.

you'll want 2 plots of carrots and 2 plots of potatoes for every beaver you expect to have in the area, along with 1 plot of wheat for every beaver. wheat takes a lot more resources, but each plot of wheat gives 15 bread. so if your beavers keep running low on food, then grow more wheat.

Building can transfers power, anyhow... But only in the non-moving parts...

Also, plant the fastest growing trees closest to the forester, and the maples at the edge of it's range, since you will likley need wood very soon after you build a forrester, and it can take more than an entire birch growing season to plant all the trees you have planned.
