I have been to the titanic museum twice in pigeon forge. Both times my person survived. I live 15 miles from the McKay’s in Chattanooga. There is a McKay’s in Knoxville not too far from pigeon forge. Too bad you didn’t stop in there. I am so glad you loved your visit to Tennessee. I have my grandmothers copy of little women. She was born in 1900 and it was hers when she was a little girl.

So many fun books!!😍 I love the Smokies and Pigeon Forge! That’s where my husband and I went for a honey moon- A quiet little cabin in the mountains. We also visited the Titanic museum and wow. 💔😭 so emotional but an incredible experience!

The Parthenon is fun to see! Gorgeous puzzle - I love that! The historic timeline in A Million Little Choices is not very substantial, it's not a full fleshed out story. But it's still a good book! Beautiful edition of Villette! I want to read some Elizabeth Goudge books also. So glad you had a fantastic trip and a great haul!

So many wonderful & beautiful books! I loved the Kristin Lavransdatter saga and I have that same gorgeous edition. I also think Oxford Classics are the best; I am slowly replacing my classics with Oxfords whenever I can. Also loved the puzzle & the bookmarks & the shots inside bookstores & that new lovely teacup matches your new green shirt!

what a wonderful book haul! glad you had a great road trip with your sister. I always enjoy visiting TN - I have family in Franklin ( just outside of Nashville ). You will need to make another trip and visit all the historics sites here, being a book lover! - Carnton Plantation and the Belle Meade area are so nice.

I LOVE transparent sticky notes! We really like the Acme Feed Store restaurant in Nashville! That PUZZLE! I want to do that one! I LOVE They Came to Baghdad! Lorna Doone! YAY! So good! My daughter is named after Lorna Doone! Also... the adaptation is a really good one for how much they have to pack into that. I loved Once Upon a Wardrobe , but I didn't care for Becoming Mrs. Lewis. LOVE The Scent of Water. I love how she handled a difficult situation. Just a beautiful story.

Hi Miriam, I loved the video. Your trip sounds wonderful and I love the Smoky Mountains! So lovely. We had a big camper when we went stayed at a real nice campground in Gatlinburg. We hiked a little bit along along beautiful creeks with little waterfalls and one souvenir was a beautiful pottery mug marked Rolling Rocks on the bottom. We were with my sister and hubby so extra fun. They had their own camper. I loved the book, The Scent of Water. I have most of Elizabeth Goudge’s books and another great one was The Dean’s Watch. Although I like them all! What kind of copy was your edition of Vilette? I would love that one too. I enjoyed Shirley somewhat but didn’t love it. Quite a big slog. I hope I like Vilette more. I am collecting and reading all the Tommy and Tuppance books in order, and just finished The Secret Adversary, by Agatha Christie. And I’m also collecting all those pretty editions of the Miss Marple books. Unfortunately I have an ugly copy of the first one, the Murder at the Vicarage, which I really liked. Oh well we’ll see if I replace it. 😊 sounds like you had a wonderful trip. ❤❤😊😊
