I am old enough to be your Grandfather, but have followed you and Lee and Occy. I too lost my Wife to Suicide many years ago, and can't say I know how you feel, but probably have a better idea than some. It is obvious how much you loved each other. You have mentioned on some of your posts that some people thought you were in your fifties, well, the new haircut will change that, looks great. Nothing but admiration for you returning to Paramedics, and absolutely love Occy.

It absolutely will. I’ve had to use the services of ambo’s a few times and a calm but friendly ambo can make all the difference. When you are older, like me (59 shhh, lol) a handsome one gives you an uplifting feeling when you feel down and like shite. Also those barber... Brilliant! The Better-help... Also brilliant... even though I cannot afford them myself they are an amazing service by the look of it and I love how you are always on the look out for your followers Max! I’ve been following you since your very first video...etc, when Aubry helped set it up...

The Aliner story reminded me of two Groogle dogs who were brothers. Zach was mine, Mater belonged to my daughter and her family. Separately they were chilled out sensible couch potatoes. Together, often within minutes of being reunited, they managed to dream up and action all sorts of mischief (usually having first escaped). Must be a brother thing! PS. I was born very near where Max first met Occy and grew up on land nearby and so feel a special little connection.

Holy Moly Guacamole - that's a great look on you. Change is good. Congrats on your new job. Glad to hear (or at least I thought I heard) we'll still be hearing from you on adventures. So glad you and your brother were not hurt - which is pretty remarkable. At the beginning of the clip, all I could think was that the soles of your feet were going to get torn up by the pavement - OMG, that was the least of your worries.

Love the new do Max. I’m a hairdresser and gosh, what an amazing spot they have there. We are like mini therapists at times with hearing how people are feeling, their past and how they’re handling things now, more than ever with Covid. Wish there was more focus on that whilst learning to cut hair.. in do time I’m sure things will change. I’d love to mention to you that I really enjoyed the music choice for your video, I enjoyed the mishmash as it’s vlog style, that’s how life is- it’ll never be a perfectly planned video if it’s following you around day to day. They have actually both undertaken a two night mental health training course that is put on specifically for barbers and is charity run (google 'Might & Mane'). I hope it becomes more mainstream too as it's such a good opportunity to pick up on issues early and direct people to the right place. Thank you for all the kind words 💛

I've been a paramedic for over 30 years. I retired from the fire department 5 years ago and have been working as an RN since. Planning a nomadic life in a few years, as soon as my kids finish school. You and a few other van lifers have inspired me. Good luck on your new adventures. I understand the need to get back in the field.
