Time Soldier - Atari ST / STE

Күн бұрынIn this video, Time Soldier, released in 1989 for the Atari ST by Electrocoin.
We must travel in time to locate and free our comrades in this vertical shoot'em up, port of Romstar/SNK 1987 arcade coin-op.
Graphically Time Soldier is good, with a slow and not so smooth scrolling, probably due to the amount of sprites on screen. The audio is made of standard ST noises and chiptunes. The playability is good but, being the playing area a little too small, the enemies appear out of nowhere and dodging the bullets and the enemies becomes challenging.

this is a pretty good conversion IMO. Since it uses the same gameplay as Ikari Warriors did you make use of the lock on movement (via space bar as suppose). This makes the game easier to navigate.

Did the original Arcade version of TIME SOLDIER have the 2-player mode? The Atari ST version of this game seems to have only the 1-player mode. Same thing on the Amiga version.
