Hi friends! I'm Jennifer, a forty-something wife and mother of 7 children ages 9 - 25. We are Catholic. We homeschool. We cook from scratch. We farm cranberries. We drink coffee. We advocate for Down syndrome awareness. We are loud. We are chaotic.
Here I'll share vlogs about all these things, what I'm doing that works and what I've tried but didn't work. I hope to encourage you in your journey through motherhood, homeschooling, learning to cook, and growing in your faith through it all.

Those berries floating on the water makes me wonder how many of the little bags I buy in the store would those berries fill. Those berries are a most beautiful sight to see, and it is amazing to learn how they grow and are harvested, even for an 80-year-old granny like me. LOL Thanks for sharing the harvest and your wonderful food always looks so good. Thanks for your time. 💕

I enjoyed your Cranberry harvest video. My family are potato growers and it always amazes me of how fast the harvest goes. My dad was an over the road truckdriver for 48 years and he hauled everything. He hauled alot of Cranberry products out of Eagle River Wi. I went with him one time to a small town in the boonies of Missouri with 1 pallet of Cranberry products that had been returned to the Eagle River plant. My dad was offered a bounus to deluver the pallet and when we deliverd it in Missouri the reciever was so happy because they needed cranberries for Thanksgiving dinner. Jen you look like a pro sitting in the passenger seat of the truck Warren you dont look so bad yourself. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Cindy Bula from Antigo Wi.

A harness and leash for a toddler is a sanity saver. Nowadays it's acceptable but in the early 80s when my daughter was little you wouldn't believe the nonsense I put up with from people. I got the idea from my mother who told me how she managed 3 toddlers all under 4 years and an infant. She said she went to a store in Germany (my dad was stationed there with the army in the early 50s) and bought them. I had to use fabric to make the one for my daughter.

I agree. I don't think all people need harnesses for their kids. But for those who have kids that refuse to stay by mom's side/dart off to potentially dangerous places, they do help so much.

Funny story and a little embarrassing but my oldest child was always one to wander off so when we took him to his first county fair we bought the backpack harness for him so he wouldn’t get lost. Anyhow we got onto the food court area and I strapped him in and set him down to walk beside me and he immediately got down on hands and knees and started barking! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ everyone was laughing and I was mortified! Lol it still makes me laugh when I think about that memory. He’s 26 now and it’s his turn to be embarrassed when I tell the story 😂😂😂
