I have a token amount of ISRG just in case they have a huge breakthrough, I can hopefully be on it and load back up... But everything else I either passed or bailed on a while ago.

Thanks Brian I have also followed you both for a long time via TMF and have considered joining as a member . I really like this analysis of cheapest and most expensive stocks but what is the bigger picture here ? Bu/ Sell in and out on an annual basis or trim up trim down or .... What is the overarching strategy / framework ?

It's all about trimming. The Antifragility of the underlying business remains the most important thing, but valuation contributes to position size

Hi Brian, Do you have a strategy / price on when you would buy these quality companies again?
@stoffelbrian
@stoffelbrian Ай бұрын
I didn't say I was selling out on all of them. But by and large, when the I believe the price makes the stock anti fragile (everything doesn't need to go **Perfectly** to justify the price) I'm more than happy to add.

Your calculations assume what PE though do investors pay vs the growth? If you are using DCF to back into those growth numbers to justify the prices it ignores the premium investors almost always pay for quality consistent growing companies. Do your calculations for companies such as CMG and Apple and I bet the numbers are at least as bad, if not worse, than these five but investors/traders will argue (for now) they are willing to pay the premium for the consistency (well for CMG consistency but apple less consistent this past year with flat to declining rev growth but still trades over 30 multiple). For many years investors have paid up for companies like CMG or ISRG and now apple despite DCF showing unachievable growth rates for them.

$300 a year is a little pricey. Fool offers similar and much more robust information.
