In the tutorial of twilight princess The former hero (normally referred to as the hero of time) is a skeleton soldier that teaches you how to fight So canonically twilight princess link was taught by the hero of time from ocarina of time

What a lot of people don’t realize is the hero’s shade (the skeleton soldier) and twilight link are blood related not spiritually or by soul no by blood twilight is times descendant possibly his grandson or great grandson I’m not gonna say father and son because that’s a big stretch given if that were the case the two would recognize each other as such and don’t… I’m done👍

ik especially since he never had the triforce of courage on him for all we know the "real hero" could still be out there with the triforce on his hands ............... they're just stuck with someone whose choatic good with exceptional fighting skills who keeps being brought back by Zelda and even the help of Rauru so even when he should've died, he is literally forced to stay alive by those around him. it's not even the triforce keeping him alive lol. he never needed courage.............he just needed to eat and find a reason to kill for fun and keep going x'D

*COMIC IDEA* */We find the Links traveling through Hyrule, Wild leads the way, with Twilight and Time following close behind/* Time: I’ve been meaning to ask about something. What was up with the kid’s reaction back in the Depths when he found your tunic? Twilight: Oh. That. *Twilight looks down, not meeting Time’s eyes* We had met a long time ago, when he had lost his memory. I guess he just finally recognized me. Time: Oh. Hey, how do you think all that hair got on it? Did a dog lay on it or something? Twilight: Uh, probably yeah. *nervously laughs* */Suddenly, a squad of monsters attack! The Links immediately spring into action/* */Most of the monsters are easily defeated, but one runs away. Thinking the others are too busy to notice, Twilight uses his Shadow Crystal to transform into his wolf form. He tracks and mauls the last monster/* Time: So that explains a lot. *Wolf Link looks around and realizes that the other Links had followed him, and he frantically shifts back* Twilight: It’s not what it looks like! *Time walks up to him and pats him on the back* Time: You owe me an explanation. i would love for Nintendo to make a Zelda game like this where all the links from the other games all got sucked into one. it would be a multiplayer game and player one would be the link of the new game and he could be joined buy up to 3 or 7 other players as different links of their choosing with their items in dungeons and different links would get their items in the dungeon along side the main link. and it could be played solo if you want to were after you save or maybe help a link you could go back to kakariko or castle town to switch links and go back to the dungeon and get to areas that only that link could unlock. it would prob be a 4 player game and you would probable have to save the 3 other links in the first 3 dungeon, to make it easer you could get an item that lets you switch links any time later on when you are safe, but only in solo mode. i would love a game that followed a story like that. if implemented right it would be a 10/10 favorite game ever in my opinion.
