I wouldn't mind a second part, where the remains of the destroyed ship would lead to developing engines capable of traversing space quickly and then humanity finding those who left their presents on earth and thanking them for it ^^.

i remember watching this movie. the beginning and future fights were solid and it felt like a good ending but it almost seemed like the producers were like uhh lets drag it on and the second half got so silly and tried to be very comedic. it just felt off

@@blackallday go back and rewatch it. They said in the beginning when they showed up at the soccer field. They were losing and a lot of people were dying. They didn’t have enough people to fight so they went to the past

Because they did not know when the creatures first appeared, the creatures were already on earth, by the time the wormhole showed up during the WC final to warn the world

The time jump only worked with one point in time. It was the only time point you could jump in and out of. You couldn't go before or after that. That's according to the movie.

It’s one of those movies where they did everything in their power to ruin what started as a great movie with an even greater concept. The biggest problem was the ending. And Chris Pratt did the movie no favors. Tbh the black guy that’s been fighting the aliens should have been the main character.
