I don't know if the intention was to create nostalgia but man, so many of TC's tracks hit me pretty deep. I'm not sad at all, I do miss that period of my life a lot and I love having a soundtrack for my thoughts and memories. Everything between my younger days growing up in the 80's and the day I met my wife and had our son is a complete blur.

I agree. I have been able to drift back into forgotten memories of childhood when I listen to their soft tones like this and Drifting Away. I just close my eyes and they come back.

Wow this is beautiful. I just discovered I'm more into the 80's vibe, atmosphere, sights and sounds than I thought..I have no idea why, but my father did listen to a lot of Depeche Mode and Daft Punk when I was a kid (born in 91), and also let me play on his Commodore Amiga so those are my favorite bands and Amiga sounds brings me much nostalgia. So weird. I'm happy to have discovered that this genre is called Synthwave/Retrowave. Making a huge playlist queue now. Keep'em coming, damn!

this song reminds me of the time I met the most amazing girl ever. Things couldn't progress much between us. it was a 'right person wrong time' kindof situation for me. but i like to think that in another life, or parallel universe, somewhere out there, the other me made it.

This sounds like an ending bgm for the thriller sci-fi film when the protagonist have survived but lost everything he loves but he seems very optimistic and smile about life because he still have his other surviving friends whom he consider as family. ❤️

Oh, okay... so this is _not_ the Rick Astley song. Still sounds nice though. And FYI, your faux-album cover has a typo; the apostrophe goes before the number, not after it. '80s is a shorthand alternative to 1980s; that's why the apostrophe is before the number; it replaces the first two digits (19).
