TIMELAPSE: LEGO Pirate Paradise

Күн бұрынThis Particular build was created as a collaborative with my friend Eli Willsea. This is a completely original LEGO creation, including one of the only working LEGO waterfalls ever. There was easily over 50,000 Lego Elements used in the making of it, although by no means did we count :P In the beginning of october, Eli and I took this creation to a LEGO event called brickcon, at which we won the best in pirates award. LEGO is just like Minecraft, except in real life! Before you ask, no, this LEGO creation is not built anymore. I like to reuse and recycle all of my bricks so I SMASH AND DESTROY them usually about 24 HOURS after I post a video.

I LOVE builds that mix functionality with general modelling. Would love to see a slightly longer video of the waterfall flowing, feels like we only got 5 seconds here!

Thanks! Once we flush out the design some more, I think a longer video will be under way. There are still a few things that jam in the function.

Sadly I already destroyed it, so that option is sorta out of the way. I do plan to start brickfilming soon though, and I think my building background will be very handy :D

Thanks! I might make a tutorial in the future, right now I am moving onto other things. Next year I think we are planning on refining the function a little bit and making the waterfall a bigger part of our moc. That might be a good time for a tutorial then :D

This is just fantastic. I played with legos for years, but was so much more into systems than creativity. Watching those two things come together in this way is very inspiring.
