I did the same thing that I did last year. I watched the ball drop on KZfaq in line with my time zone opened up a bottle of Coca-Cola when the clock struck midnight and I gave my cat a kiss.. It’s just me and her again alone in the house. But maybe that’s OK. Happy new year, everyone!

So the Times Square building (where the ball sits on top of) is currently under renovation. I think the usual fireworks display that comes out of the side of the building was super reduced this year because of that. Hopefully they go all out next year.

Kind of disorganized this time, the song IMAGINE ended right at 11:59, when normally ends 30 seconds before 11:59, the people who are supposed to press down the small ball that represents the switch that activates the countdown and the ball, just were there like waiting when the big ball began descending and the countdown began too
