Both choppers had the coordinates (location) of the Presidents chopper in their system and having contact with control tower they would have pin pointed the location and gone for the rescue immediately. Could have saved the person who died 7 hours after the crash. 17 hours to locate the site means they didn't want any survivors ?? . Inside Job?!

However, I as a Fighter Pilot and Fight Safety Officer, Have found this tragedy could be simply avoided, IF the Pilot had a good planning, avoid to get INTO the Could; maintaining VFR, climbing above the Pick of Mountains; or Aborting the mission, landing safely asking for automobiles to take the passengers safely to destination. Therefore, technically it was the Pilot Error Accident. 👎👎👎 The Pilot, always, is the Commander of the Fight; disregard who are the Passenger(s). Sometimes, The Powerful Passengers (s) they are Interfering with the Pilot's Duty by comments such as "Captain! We are in harry please rush to distention" OR, if the Pilot reports to Important Passenger that "Sir! the Distention's Routh weather is Dangerous, we must land just in this airport. The Powerful Pass anger would say: " No! No! Go I have Important Meeting! In a Similar case; an Iranian General Ordered me to GO I MUST BE IN MASHAD!" I said : "NO! Sir the Weather is Very Dangerous I would Land in the Airport of Birjand; you go with a Jeep!"! The General became very upset I didn't care and landed in Birjand! Still can’t understand how three helicopters taking the same route didn’t suffer the same fate. ? Maybe it was just an accident but. Something doesn’t add up. Something seems off about this crash.

Pilot error. He flew too low. There was a convoy of 3helicopters the other two made it to destination safely. Or pilot paid to crash the chopper. It reminded me of the crash that killed Indian armed forces CDS General Bipin Rawat.
