Though not mandatory for an MP to raise slogan for own country (i.e. Jai Bharat), during swearing in cermony/programme, he can'nt praise other friendly country too if he choose not to praise own country for which he is being sworn in. Thus, it becomes serious issue of allegiance to own country which render him unfit as a true member of Parliament.

Jethmalani is talking nonsense. Why should he raise such a slogan while taking an oath as an MP inside the Indian parliament. He can express his concern for Palestine outside the oath ceremony or during his speech or raising a concern as an MP while attending a parliament session. But this was an absolutely unlawful act. The Indian judiciary is weak because of this kind of lawyer. This is definitely a wrong precedence set by a few MPs.

Jethmalani has considered the issue very lightly perhaps due to the fragile conditions of the house and he stressed upon the smooth conduct of the affairs there .But to most of us think that the issue will in long run have implecation on the soiveraignity and integrity of the country that's why should be encountered with exemplary punishment so that no one in future can dare to use such important events of the house to express his own views on Indian foreign policy .

Can any Judge of a High Court or the Supreme Court takes Oath and makes the slogan "Jai Pakistan" or "Jai Palestine or China Etc"? Oath under the Constitution in Parliament is a solemn act, and not a joke coming out of Palestine comic book. It is very clear that Owasis's destiny is in PALESTINE.
