Did you know that when a bot in multiplayer is offscreen and far away enough, their models effectively cease to exist and all their combat with other bots is "Fake"? For example: - TS2 hospital has a spot in the central room on the bottom floor where the game will think the bots are "Away" causing them to disappear and reappear before your eyes. - The Injector and Baseball Bat in TS3 can't "Fake" damage properly; you'll hear grunts of pain from the bots, but they won't die until you go to the room they're in. - Also in TS3. In an all-Flamethrower Elimination match the bots will die with the "Run over by vehicle" death animation at random if "Away", if it's just you and one bot left you can run away and you'll suddenly win without ever setting them on fire.

yes. and if you are playing tdm with the bots, you can see their team colour logo, even though the bot itself isnt rendering

for the first one, I would love to see that for the facts and glitches after we get the story done! - I will likely take a look at TSFP once I finish the TS2 Story! Really appreciate the time you took to let me know about these! Thanks!

currently binge-watching these vids after discovering your channel from your speedruns. as someone who played TS1 to death back in the day on PS2, i am absolutely loving these, big ups man!

Atom Smasher has the worst checkpoint in the game. Way too early that it makes it frustrating to restart. Should have been before the door to the second to last bomb.

Agreed. As a first time player, the checkpoint is pretty brutal to reset back to.

It should of been after you defuse the crane bomb.

I have to agree! I still have access to timesplitters 2, and honestly I can't beat Atom Smasher on hard. Most of the other missions were a breeze, (despite Neotokyo, but that was only way back when I was like 8) but I literally can't beat Atom Smasher. Because I typically get to the same point in the mission, which is towards the end and then I'm forced to restart from that early ass checkpoint over and over to the point that I just don't have it in me to continue the level.

I was like you, got TS2 in 2003 and only cleared Atom Smasher on hard in 2022, are you able to get to the last boss ok or do you end up dying before that?

My first time beating Aztec ruins I actually brought the golems to the original room because I didn’t know the launcher had an alternative shoot option. I was so mad when I realized I wasted countless hours trying to corral them into the holes again!

I've played this game for 15 years. Almost around the time it came out. From your video I've just found out that there are pressure plates in Aztec Ruins. I remember my brother and I running around in circles everytime we played wondering when the trap doors would open. We thought they were random. Damn, if we just focused on the floor and not the stone golems we would've saved so much time. Nevertheless, we had an awesome time playing; yelling and running around trying to get them into a trap door. I don't even want to mention your 11mn 30sec idea about bringing the stone golems all the way up. We used to do that because we didn't know about that damn grenade/fire launcher in the corner. I subscribed to your channel because even though I seem like I have no idea about what I'm doing in terms of timesplitters 2, I've played it for a long time, and loved every second of it. I love your 100% platinum as well as your 100% gold or better runs. Keep pushing hard for those records!

Don’t know if you all ready knew about this easter egg, considering it’s from Future Perfect but I just like it so much I had to talk about it. In the first mission taking place during the Robot War, if you look close enough during the beginning cutscene, you can see that Cortez’s robot buddy’s head monitor has a ”big titty cyborg girl” wallpaper.

aztec has always been my least favourite TS2 level, but I have to appreciate just how ambitious it is to the other levels with all the puzzles, traps and combat gimmicks.

I knew the thing about the checkpoint in atom smasher because I had to restart so many damn times to beat the timer LOL. 100%ed this game many times and the story mode on Hard still makes me rage.

In Atom Smasher, after extinguishing the fire of the two Dr. Peabodys in checkpoint, one of them started aiming me as if he had a gun, and then he started hitting me

I was about to get the footage for it when i realized I had left my micro usb wires at a friends house and couldnt get 2 separate methods of control for recording. I'll make sure to include it for next time though!

My bad! I forgot to edit it in, totally on me! The music would have been me layering over Aztec interior, and Atom Smasher and I wish I caught it at the time!
