Yes, Ethiopia is a very special place because of Ethiopian Orthodox, the oldest and the an edited religion. Many are bringing the European version of Christianity from abroad, yet, Orthodox is still big. Thank you, sis for sharing the celebration.

What size is the plot you're building on? Do you build on the entire plot or reserve some for a backyard or patio?

So, the plot size is 200 sq meters. The base of the house covers about 140 of that, I believe. We left some space in the front and along one side for parking and a small garden. We will also have space for herbs and small plants on our terrace and balcony areas. Also, we have a few rooms behind the house that we plan to use for an outside bathroom, kitchen, and maybe a bedroom. We also are planning to build an extension above those rooms for Airbnb purposes as well.
