I have to admit, I have noticed when Jake was with Lorena or any other Girl he never actually sang 'directly' at those girls.... and also, if you all watch through the episodes when Jake and Lorena are together, whenever Jake is on Stage, whether he's singing or playing his guitar, Tiff is always stood in the background watching him.... hmmm

that is true but in that Episode where the band was in that Battle of the Band where Jake and Lorena were together and he sang that song "Lets Spend Sometime Together" he did sing directly to him but i did see Tiffany watch him. I dont think he even said I Love you to Lorena either. or called her Hunny like Jake did to Tiffany.
