In this video, we show you how to perform a flush on a Toyota/Lexus Sealed Automatic Transmission. The vehicle we performed the flush on is the Lexus GX470. The Lexus GX470 has the A750F Automatic Transmission.
**The A750F 5 Speed Automatic Transmission was used in the following vehicles:
2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner (4x4)
2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma (V6 4x4)
2005-2009 Toyota Tundra (4x4)
2004-2009 Toyota Sequoia (4x4)

**To use a Scan Gauge to monitor you auto trans temp, use the following codes to program it:
Gauge = Transmission Temperature (°F)

I think he was low starting out.The Toyota WS is synthetic blend. The full synthetic is working fine for me.I have never towed or off roaded this truck.

Why not jack up the vehicle and put a longer hose on the suction line in a bucket of new fluid disconnect the discharge line with a longer hose into a empty bucket start the vehicle and put in drive and let the tranny pump keep pumping out the old fluid while the tranny is going through the gears until new fluid comes out the discharge line reconnect the tranny lines to the cooler and then check for correct level...that's how I do my allison 1000 on my dmax for the last 14 years with success

Another theory of why replacing fluid for fist time on a transmission with a lot of miles, is that transmissions rely on a certain amount of friction to work, and old fluid can supply some extra friction on an older and worn transmission.

Why didn't you remove both pipes from the cooler, stick the inlet in a clean container filled with new oil so it sucks new oil in and the other outlet that you removed in the video to see the old oil leaves like you djd, wouldnt that make more sense than flushing one litre at a time?

I have a2004 120 prado v6 petrol its the lexus 470 in your country same engine-and transmission 4 speed auto- i can see the drain plug for the ATF but i dont have a check plug - there is only one plug on the bottom of the transmission sump. No others. Additionally i cannot locate any 24 mm nut as the filler. Spent 8 hours so far just trying to find a video that will actually show how to access the filler plug thats clear. Nightmare to find

I "exchanged" the transmission fluid on my 07' Tundra. Drain pan, fill, pin T-stat open, drain from cooler line, start rig, run through gears for 45 seconds, and fill. Repeat 4 time, check temp/level and your done. I learned all this via your videos. Spot on and provided peace of mine of doing the job correctly the first time.

Just recently got trans shudder 3-4 4-5 shifts like you described in the video on my 4runner with the A750F trans. Will be following these steps and hopefully will solve the issue!
