Love Timmy to bits as well❤, but must say that I wonder if his performing arts school of his formidable years didn't train future actors like him proper diction and annunciation, like I expect all theater schools of the past did. You know, with all those vocal and mouth exercises. He doesn't seem to do those at all. It always seemed to me the first rule of drama class. But even some top actors today, like Timmy, who can sing well and throw his voice clearly to the back row, somehow still speaks with that clench-jawed slurring and mumbling manner so often. But having said all that, I think there's something sweet and adorable about it too, like he doesn't want to take over the room or something... even tho I can't always understand him lol

I loved it the advice Walken gave to Butler: "just read the cue cards". Walken in a nutshell. Also, Austin Butler looked really engaged in Timothy's answers, who looked almost shy around Butler. It's no surprise that he picked the Dean movie, because the similarities are there.
