** Warning: this interview contains one incident of strong language. **
Timothée Chalamet talks to BBC Radio's 1 Ali Plumb about his latest film, Netflix's The King, where he plays Hal himself, King Henry V, alongside Joel Edgerton, Ben Mendelsohn, Sean Harris, Lily-Rose Depp and Robert Pattinson. Along the way, they touch on Call Me By Your Name and a couple of upcoming films Little Women and Dune. All that, and what fans say to him in the street and who he most often gets mistaken for (Hint: It's Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland - who knew?)
P.S. You can also watch this interview on BBC iPlayer here: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode...

Second, Timmy has an unnatural ability to be profoundly emotionally expressive - so much so that, at times, he is mesmerizing to watch even without dialog. Miguel Gonzalez as I know Danna commented not a competition, I’m goona refute u bcuz I don’t think so tho.🤣 I found out about Tom Holland thru spiderman homecoming, I knew nothing about him what-so ever and could not tell at the slightest bit he was british🤣he’s a master over both accents, can flip and dance amazingly which comes in handy with certain acting roles and does his lines perfectly. Tbh, I believe toms better 😂 but both are phenomenal I think it depends on which role they are going for, Tom makes the best spiderman outta the two while Tim plays the role of the King better than Tom would if he would of auditioned.

I've been on this planet for quite a few decades now and the one thing I first noticed about Timothee Chalamet is that he is ONLY the second actor I have ever seen who acts with his eyes.. Regardless of the scene or the dialog, his eyes during the scene tells the character's story... The first actor I noticed to do that is Jake Gyllenhaal. To me, that is great acting! If you can understand the character without a dialog just by his eyes, that actor is a gift to the industry in my opinion!
