You can tell he’s been practicing his French over the years, this is most I’ve heard Timothée speak in French without stumbling or hesitating (even compared to his previous appearances on this same show). I love how proud he looks after each answer 🥺

LMFAO the way Timothee was jamming so hard to Kid Cudi and then when Denis favourite song came on right after Timothee couldn't hold in the laughter because it's the complete opposite of his favourite song 🤣

What I find very interesting as a French speaker is that his accent is getting more fluid as time goes on, you can still tell he's an English speaker but there's some words where he sounds very Paris (towards the beginning but I can't think of a specific example) and other words where he actually pronounces it almost the Canadian way? Like how he says "planète" around 8:00. That's not a dig at all I think part of it is that Denis is probably one of the only people he's been speaking French with on the daily over the past couple of years and it sounds like his French rubbed off on him, which is really cool and interesting.

Im a super new fan of this guy so Im late to the party but i gotta say- I really love when he speaks french in interviews. Its so interesting seeing him speak french because not only is the language itself very sexy, but his mannerisms become more confident as he's moving his arms and hands to express himself. In each french interview he appears as though he feels more confident when he's speaking French. I just love and admire it❤ I also just watched Dune for the first time a day ago and i was impressed with his performance; especially the crying scenes; it reminded me so much of a young Leonardo Dicaprio for some reason. (Sorry for Leo fans who disagree. My apologies) But just the way Chalamet fully commits to a role is impeccable like you cant even tell he speaks another language. Some actors accent slips through the character- i've seen it with not only foreign actors but actors with australian or british accents sometimes. But not Timothée. When he's speaking french you hardly hear the american accent. When he's speaking english you can't hear the french accent. Its quite impressive. I would love to see him do a french film even if its small indies one, i don't mind. I know thats something he wants to do some day. He says it in all his interviews and i think he means it. ~Sidenote ; i gotta be honest... i didnt see the hype about this dude for a long time but he's starting to grow on me. Disappointed he's with a Kardashian/Jenner though. Nothing against Kylie, but I fear her toxic fanbase and overall cancerous dramatic reality tv show isnt good for Timothée's status, reputation or career in so many ways. But best of luck to him- he's gonna need it dealing with what comes with that family.😅 fingers crossed 🤞🏼 that its all for P.R. to promote both his and her stuff and theyre just sleeping around from time to time who knows 🤷🏽‍♀️ lol
