Timothy Dalton in The Rocketeer. The ending is a bit crap because I didn't want to see Timothy Dalton get blown up. :)

Just finished watching The Devil's Whore (aka The Devil's Mistress) here on KZfaq and came looking for more of Timothy Dalton. I love period dramas so I'm starting with...maybe, The Lion In Winter. So many to choose from.

I only know Dalton as James Bond and he is my personal favourite (and objectively) the ian Fleming's James Bond came to life. But Damn.. I think the rocketeer is one of the movies where the villain is much more interesting (and charming) than the hero. And Dalton's chemistry with Jennifer Connelly is amazing, she definitely would've been great as a bond girl! Also, some criticized Dalton for the lack of womanizing in Bond movies. Well.. The script forbade too much of womanizing thanks to HIV & AIDS went nuts in late 80s. And after seeing how Dalton womanizes Connelly here, damn.. He could've done womanizing job even better than Connery or Moore.
