Professor Snyder is one of the leading experts on Eastern European history, and recently published a new book, Black Earth: The Holocaust as History and Warning, winner of the MacMillan Center’s Gustav Ranis International Book Prize. Professor Snyder will discuss recent presidential election and the state of European and American political history.
