I was riding my bike on the canal path. A canal boat was coming towards me. A gentleman and a lovely lady waved at me and said Hello. Then I realised it was Prunella and Timothy West. A lovely memory for me. ❤️❤️❤️

Very moving. Timothy West is so good with his wife, the way he conducts himself and gives her time and space to express what she can of herself. ❤

I’m hopeful my husband and I make it this long too. I was 20 and he was 27 when we first met. He’s now 68 and I’m 61 and we retired together last year because we wanted as much time together as possible before reaching end!! We have big plans for the next 20 years so I just hope we come out the other side as happy as these two appear to be!!! Best wishes for many more years! Cheers

My mum had vascular dementia. This is a lovely window into their life. It can’t be easy, but when there is love you hold on to everything you can. God bless them for sharing.

My Mother was diagnosed with vascular dementia n 2007. It is a terrible disease to have and so hard on the entire family. Unfortunately, we were unable to care for Mum and she entered into a long term care facility. Where she quite often did not understand why she was there. Hard to see this in a loved one.

I've always loved watching them both perform over the years. Such brilliant actors and so versatile. And to see them still enjoying each other's company in spite of the difficulties posed by dementia is so wonderful. May they have many more years together.

An amazing couple and I've enjoyed their films and documentaries for years; Timothy West was brilliant in the series 'Edward the Seventh' 1975 with Annette Crosby, Robert Hardy, and Michael Hoarden. Actors with years of experience.

Fantastic series with the two of these lovely people. Timothy is so brave and he is always Sir Leister Dedlock to me (Bleakhouse, Charles Dickens). Thoughts are with their awesome son Samuel, who I have almost grown up with watchng his acting in period drama's and lately The Crown and All Creatures, Great and Small. Pretty sure his parents are very proud and Britain is very lucky to have such people in their community. I'm sure Queen Camilla may want to help their project to build research on Dementia. Wishing Timothy and Prunella strength now.

So so sad to see what age has done to these two beautiful peoples brains, slowed them down but still delightful. .I am 78 and hoping that can avoid the dreaded dementia and particularly Alzheimer's. Trick is to keep doing 'stuff' and giving yourself new challenges, have a very supportive family, 5 grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren that keep me on my toes. 😊💖
