Screw canon. Zahn's original Thrawn trilogy was the best Star Wars writing period.

I hate to say this but it is not relly Thrawn in Rebel, it is Dvea Floins take om what he think Thawn. In 2014 they mead it clue that a have stated a now timeline, so this by as well be Thawn's gay brother. Thrawn has not Ben quet "canonised" because they not canonised sunbathing from a naver canon. So when I hear people say "When is Mara Jade going to be in the movie's' or "When is character X going to be canonised. Image how silly it wood be if it was the over way areond. "When are you going to make a EU novel staring Rey, when is finn finitely going to get his oun EU video game. We have two timelines. But kept the timeline's septet.

I love Thrawn but it’s really not the best writing in Star Wars by a long shot. From what I’ve read, Master and Apprentice and the Bane trilogy were much better. Again though, I do love Zahn’s Thrawn, but it is a bit boring from time to time and there isn’t enough character development for Thrawn.

Tom Landy, I totally agree!! Cumberbach for Thrawn!! One question for SW fans, and Thrawn's fans is why he was so devoted do the Emperor??. After Palpatine's death Thrawn went on fight for the Empire. In Rebels he says "my Emperor" with devotion and obidience. Any ideas??

Ha thats funny cause I've only heard the audiobooks and it's pronounced like Pellion. That's how I imagined it was spelled. Marc Thompson btw is an amazing narrator if you guys haven't heard..

omg he would be awesome as Thrawn... He has the look, the voice and the demeanor. however i feel like we've already seen him do something very similar as Khan. but hot damn, he'd be perfect for the role regardless.

Thrawn as a puppet master would be good too. Look at opponents hand and spend their resources to play the cards as thrawn sees fit

It honestly surprises me that Zahn likes how Rebels portrayed Thrawn. They made him a ruthless villain who full on kills his own men. Thrawn is the farthest thing from a ruthless villain.

I finished the Thrawn books for the first time, i think, last year, and after all the hype they get i was dissatisfied. In fact, at about the halfway point in the second book i had to fight a little bit to get through the end of it all. They are okay books i guess, if a bit too long for what they are, but other than that i really don't get why people adore them. Then again, i also really dislike Lord Of The Rings (the books, not the movies).

Zahn is a great get but never try to finish your interviewees responses for them. You did that throughout this interview consistently. It was perplexing and completely unnecessary as it added absolutely nothing to the interaction. You must stop doing this immediately.
