Thank you for this. I played percussion from 3rd grade till sophomore year. I was very well at timpani. Our high school had a three pice set, that I used in symphonic orchestra. I can still read sheet music.Make me want to take some lessons and make a career change. 🏁👍

Yo Pauly I sincerely understand why you had responded to my comment like that. It seemed like I was insulting the person in the video and I understand. But then again that isn’t right for you to insult other strangers that you don’t know plus that comment was from a year ago. Its unreasonable and unnecessary to do that which is why its in the youtube community guidelines to be respectful in the comments. Uhh, it,s ringing the bell! The sound you want is like bong! Pure tone if you get a beoww that's bad! Typms are a pitch instrument you must not fluctuate the pitch! That's pound! I,m mean !! My nick name for Vic firth is Vic pound!! I studied with the protege of Cloyd Duff! He played with Cleveland symp! Listen to recordings of Cleveland and Boston from the 60,s and 70,s!! You will hear the difference! Duff and hockreiner were the masters!
