There are people that hate life. They think that the world did something to them. That someone out there is the reason they don't get laid regularly or they can never get the good job because no one can see their real potential. Meanwhile he just pointed at a nice picture of your wife and daughter on your desk. And says "I can see why you are depressed. Your wife is a dog faced pony soldier. And I would just go ahead and drown your daughter because she is already taking after your sow and pointing at your wife and retching. These type are just going to be outwardly the way they feel about themselves. They hit the thumbs down even before they look at the video. I know because it happened to me after uploading a video. It got a dislike before I finished watching it. My brother is the type that would do that. He is such a drag to be around most times. If I am happy about something he has to shit all over it. If I say I am doing really well lately. I am so glad I made the decision that I did. He would say " I guess, did you know that the thing you just told me about? It is probably the fucking stupidest thing I have heard. Then I say, no man I worked with a retarded guy and he said some stupid shit. Cutting me off he says. "No I am sure what decision you made was wrong. You will regret it. And I just feel sorry for him. Holy shit I got off on a rant. Your comment triggered me having gotten thumbs down by this guy that watched two of my videos and had to make a shitty comment about them. Anyway I am going to leave this comment up. I would love for my brother to see it. The good part is, I am happy. He will never be, unless he decides to change. By the way, this is a shit video, I gave it a thumbs down. Lols jk

Just a suggestion to help you when you are soldering your wires. My buddy is a electronics wizard. He is a developer / contractor for the US Army and he taught me how to solder my wiring projects. If you "tin" your wires before you put them into the crimp fitting you will only have to heat up the connector and not use any solder. Tinning your wires is where you leave your iron on the stand on the bench and you lay your wires on the iron and put solder on the wires first. The solder will flow into all the open area around the wires even when twisted. Then you just heat up the fitting and it bonds. Also if you are soldering into a "cup" type receiver you heat the cup and fill it with solder first and then tin your wires and it makes it a lot easier. Just a suggestion. I love the Willy's bro!

@@timsane I am not criticizing your work by any means. I just suggested the process I was taught because I can relate to what a bitch it is to get that wire soldered into that crimped fitting without melting the plastic on the fitting or getting the wire casing overheated causing it to become brittle. You will be amazed at how much faster you can get wires soldered if you take a couple of minutes to do some prep work prior to pulling the trigger on the build. It's like painting a room in your house. It's all in the prep. Trust me, there is no way I would be critical of anything I have seen you do in your video's. You have got to be a very smart mechanically minded man to build that Willy's. It is way cool. I put it up there with those guys that build those RC fighter jets from scratch with real turbine engines. Just plain awesome.

Just found your build and this is very, very cool. On the oil cooler I would put some black foam tape to seal the shroud to the cooler so that way all the air from the fans will be forced through the cooler. That is how automotive cooling systems are set up otherwise most of the air will just be pushed around the cooler. Now it is time for me to watch all the other vids on this build.

Just as a point of interest. You should never solder wires on anything with an engine. The solder will wick up the wire a little and the vibration will eventually work harden it and cause the wire to break.

Not to take anything away from the awesome work you're doing...Soldering wires in a high vibration environment is a no-no. Solder stiffens the conductors and can/will lead to internal breakage. All you have to do to verify is look at the connectors on any automobile. They are all crimped. Your fears of connections coming apart can be eased by using higher quality un-insulated terminals and good heat shrink tubing. (The stuff I use is weather proof.When heated, the inner part is like hot glue. Kinda pricey but it's really good at keeping contaminates out)
@MrVolksbeetle4 жыл бұрын
Insane Projects Hey, no worries. I used to do my connections the way you did here. After having to go behind myself on a few repairs, I read an article on electrical repairs (specifically splicing and terminals) and even they used to swear by soldering. Honestly, the best part is that you are thinking about what you’re doing and many don’t. Love your work, have a great weekend as well!

Good show! Every video is one step closer to this beast being finished. I think I speak for everyone when I say; I can't wait to see it in action when it's done! Apart from being awesome, & showing what is possible, what are you intending to do with this car once it's done? Is it mainly to do burnouts at car shows & other events? Will it be to draw publicity to your business? Is it purely a labour of love, for fun? All (or none) of the above? Just curious, but either way, it is very cool! P.S. I love that cute little Yoshimura silencer!🤗
