Here’s the problem I have with the whole thing. If the girl is 17 years and 364 days old when this occurs, she’s still a minor and that’s a problem in the eyes of the law, even if she “consents” which is obviously the case here. But the next day, all is good? Now you can’t say she’s a minor and use that as a sticking point. If she’s pushing say 15 and younger, since minimum age of consent is 16, then yes that’s very bad. People are hearing “minor” and assume the latter and don’t accept the former as a possibility.
