They add filler episodes when an anime either catches up to the manga or is expected to in the near future. It allows the writers, voice actors, and animators more time to work on each episode rather than have to put out a new episode by the end of each week.

Fillers are episodes so that the manga gets ahead, and then the anime slows down. The manga is always first. I love you Tim, but kinda disappointed that you won’t give Naruto a chance. Hey, at least Demon Slayer Season 2 is coming out this year.

Used to be a huge fan of Naruto, still am really. But the story coming of the 4GNW (hopefully u get it lol trying not to spoil) became a little long and drawn out. Not to mention I wasn’t a fan of the “last” villain ( for a myriad of reasons)

Tim fillers are there so that the anime can give you something to watch in between them making each arc. You can watch the fillers but u can skip them

The fact that people don’t know that fillers were made so that the creators of the show can have time to write out the rest of the story.. but still be able to get you content every week 🤦🏾♂️.. that’s why most newer anime’s don’t have fillers because of technology and how fast they can produce/animate
