Hello everyone!
Todays video is all about upcycling tin cans into beautiful home decor. This is a great way to turn trash into treasure. I have 4 tin can craft ideas tuning them all into smashed wall pockets. All are different styles and easy to create.

Cute when I did craft shows in the 1980s can wall pockets were my number one seller. I still save cans and craft with them.

Real comedy that some younger KZfaqrs have an ongoing drama of which of them did this 1st when did it in Girl Scouts in the Seventies and then to sell 4 side $ for the fanny pack in the Eighties! 🤣🤑🤣

Gotta tell you I have a friend who works in restaurant. They have huge cans. Going to make a large pocket to hang below my mail box. And one near my front door. Restraunt was thrilled to give them to me.

Thanks, Deidre, for sharing your spin on these. I've watched a number of tutorials, but you were the first that I've seen to use a vise to pinch the bottom together. BRILLIANT!!! This will be much easier on my hands (carpal tunnel) than using a mallet : ) The first was my favorite until you created the decoupage Boho tin w/that gorgeous green trim! I know that I'll be on the lookout for trim at my local thrift stores. Love watching your creative process at work. ~Shari

You could also use the pockets for mail, or things you put in your pockets when you go out....driving gloves, small wallet ect
