They just dont know how to leave classics alone, you cannot recreate the past, it's impossible. Nothing today is as good anymore as it once was so why mess with it? The jokes are not as good, and lines that are said sound very corny, for example that part she says "get in ** we're going shopping." Wat was that? Haha. Idk all I know is the past is on another level todays generation just can not touch..if anyone says differently you're not telling the truth. I say this all respectfully.

kind of wish they didn't say she 'dreamed up' the original mean girls. obv she wrote the screenplay but it is based on a book.

The book she was inspired by is a non-fiction sociology book, Tina came up with characters, story, dialogue, all the things that make a movie. I love that she always gives props to the book but she definitely did come up with the whole movie

@@GABISNAIL i commented before i finished the video because i have adhd lol. but you're correct and they did mention the book which was nice. i've just seen a lot of interviews lately not name the book as inspiration is all. i did make it a point to say she obv wrote the screen play.

@@Kirsten_is_cursed10 why would i do that, it's the internet and i have adhd. kidding, i have just seen multiple interviews w/ Tina lately that have not mentioned it. so i assumed when they said that at the beginning they prolly wouldn't mention it either. but you're right, i should have watched the full thing lol.
