I will and will repeat again Kenya has music but we end up play funny music without meaning in our media. we cant beat the WEST in their game even if they stay for 100 years without singing. Look at Uganda how they are doing with their kiganda traditional songs( can you compare any Kenyan artist with Chameleon in terms of popularity, Chameleon is doing good with is kiganda traditional songs and we like them and for Kenya we want to rap like jamaicans, like Kanye west?), Congoliese with lingala, Tanzania with bongo, Jamaica with Regea. it either we go traditional for exampleBenga or Taarab, the rest we will and we are wasting time. Music is about rythm not whether you understand the language or not. during the nineties how many danced to Kanda Bongoman ,Aluce Mabele Diblo Dibala and we didn't understand what they were singing.
