I’ve watched reactions of classical pianists/teachers who know this song VERY well and they all say she did not miss a note. I can’t imagine being able to play this fast for over 6 MINUTES!! My fingers would be cramped and confused after 1.3 seconds. She is brilliant, and I miss her very much.

Great reaction, cheers! It took me 2 hours to learn the 1st six seconds of this and i have been playing over 30 years. i know what she is doing, my fingers just dont move that quick, her techniques are flawless, note the hair band at the top bridge on neck, a common way to get around the feedback when you are tapping on a dirty sound. Best of luck in your travels Tina, you are well loved

When I was younger I needed to learn Dvorak cello concerto in b-minor solo part, it's measure by measure, note by note, eventually stringing them together, then getting to tempo, it becomes muscle memory. You no longer have to think what comes next, your muscles remember.

Hello "it's your girl". Tina comes from the classic part. She learned to play a concert guitar. Then the pieces got better and better, the guitars got more and more expensive and then came what we hear here. A music professor listened to this piece, slowed it down and had to admit afterwards that Tina didn't forget a note and, what was even better, the phrasing was right. The tempi in this piece were also right. So an absolute masterpiece. And who was your teacher? Steve Vai. They both did a battle on the net and afterwards Steve Vai had to admit that Tina is just as good as he is!!

Iv'e been playing guitar for about 35 years and how I learn a new song is by learning one small section at a time and then linking all those small sections together. When you're learning that "small section" you play it over and over and over and it soon becomes muscle memory. Most songs have repeating riffs and this song has repeating riffs too, so that helps. After you have all the sections memorize and you know where all the notes are and you got the repeating sections helping out, next step is to speed it up, work on note accuracy and polishing the song to perfection. Metronome to help the "speed up" process, 'note accuracy' comes with practice and finally in the end you put it all together into the final song. Anyways... thats how I do it and I know a lot of other guitar players learn songs this way too.
@RustyCyler
@RustyCyler 2 жыл бұрын
I also want to add that I always thought that learning a new song on the guitar was a similar experience to putting a jigsaw puzzle together. You find the pieces and put them in place and it all comes together in the end to make a beautiful picture/song.

@RustyCyler
@RustyCyler 2 жыл бұрын
@@EvilsTwin66 Hi Thorsten. So "easy" is a relative term. With that said... When you learn to play an instrument with average or slightly above proficiency I'd guess that around 85% of typical modern main stream music is actually pretty easy to learn. Learning the complex song that Tina plays in this video is also learned the same way, you break it down into smaller pieces. Moonlight Sonata is absolutely one of the more difficult songs to learn, but I think that goes without saying. I've been playing for 35 yrs and I don't think I have the skills to play Moonlight Sonata.

I've watched many other Tina S reaction videos and the average response is dumbfounded silence. Most of the time I've had to wait a full thirty seconds after the lightning speed guitar playing ceased before the reactor came to their senses enough to say something "brilliant" like, "Jeez, that was good wasn't it?" Actually, their silence spoke more eloquently about what they experienced than words ever could. This is what I think happens to the average non guitar playing viewer while watching Tina S. Our brains begin to roast when 450 degrees of Tina S quadruple-speed guitar virtuosity is applied to them. We have to hit the stop button every thirty seconds to allow a cooling process to take place lest our brains sizzle and melt. Tina S is performing diabolically difficult guitar shredding impossibilities right before our very eyes. Hence, our confusion. Tina S, in our minds, is just too dang young to be playing that good! The average person can't swallow the theory that practice alone got her to that level of amazingness. A gift from God? Probably. At least that's my view. There was one good Tina S reaction that got my attention. "Watching Tina S play should be the easy part and her playing should be the hard part. But my experience was that watching her was the hard part because her playing appeared to be the easy part." Weird. But true. Afterthoughts. Tina has been negatively accused of being emotionless while playing. Granted, she doesn't gush with emotion like your average rock guitarist but here are three reasons why she acts that way. REASON 1. Tina S is NOT a rock guitarist. She's a classically trained guitarist. Notice how she has her guitar propped up on her left leg. Classical guitar style all the way. Classical guitarists are prim and proper and subdued on stage. Tina is probably mimicking the great classical guitarist Segovia's expression while playing not Angus Young's. By the way, Tina IS expressing emotion, it's literally pouring out of her instrument. REASON 2. Tina is not performing on a rock stage with 30,000 lunatic fans expecting guitar virtuosity and gobs of emotion. She is performing in a simple studio with one cameraman as her audience. Probably her mom. She doesn't need to perform rock star stunts like playing the guitar with her teeth, or setting it on fire, or biting off the heads of bats. She's just playing the damn thing! Better than anyone that I've ever seen. REASON 3. The third reason why Tina isn't showing emotion is because what she's doing is easy. Yes, easy. How much emotion do you show while tying your shoe laces? Zero. Right? Why? Because tying your shoes is easy. You don't grimace and squint and bite your lower lip while tying your shoes because you don't need to and it would be weird if you did. Tina doesn't grimace and squint and bite her lower lip while shredding the guitar because she doesn't need to. The end.

Haven’t seen you reacting to Tina’s best video which is a cover of “For the Love of God” P.S. it is not a song as there’s no singing in it. Waooo!!!....Congratulations my friend!! ...Would you like to reach 60,000 or more subscribers this week?...Well here you have your best gift of your life!!....Today it is very rare to find reactors like you who have never reacted to the best singer in the world, Dimash Kudaibergen, who has 7 octaves and 3 semitones vocal range (An alien) ... Maybe someone made you a request to react to Dimash, but you have not had time .... I am going to dare to recommend that you meet Dimash, because when you do it for the first time, your life as reactor will change forever ....For example, the number of views that you have today, it will increase by 300% in a matter of a few hours and you will get a lot of new subscribers.....But when you react to Dimash, don't do it with his most recent songs ... I recommend that you go to the year 2017 and react to the song that made him a global idol ... I mean the performance he did Dimash from the famous French song called "SOS D'un Terrien en Détresse", when he participated in the famous Chinese reality show The Singer in that year 2017 ... With that performance Dimash earned the reputation of being the best singer on the planet, so I recommend you start with that one.... You can also start with the other famous live version of that song that Dimash did the following year 2018 when he was invited to the famous Slavic Bazzar festival in Belarus .... Both performances are from another planet...And I have to give you a warning: Never react to The World Best videos, because they suck!...Your life will never be the same again, after reacting for the first time to Dimash...And your first reaction to Dimash will be something very special, so I recommend that you do the best job of your life as a reactor, because that first video will be seen by thousands of people around the world, maybe millions...I hope to see you first reaction soon and if you don't mind, I'd like you to mention me as the person who recommended reacting to Dimash....Here you have the best high quality video of Dimash performing S.O.S. Live 2017.....kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mKqIZqmZ0t-ykZc.html

There are more female guitarists out in the world and they play well enough but when they play they are about lvl 6 to 8 and that sounds good! But Tina Setcic , sorry if I´m spelling it wrong, but when she plays, she is at another level. No rocket science here.... Deeply impressed. Kind of get it why she stopped youtube. Too easy for her, no challenge. Been there done that. Time to move on.

- Tina interview: "The comments of the jealous and the haters and trolls do not interest me, I don't care, they do not know the music and the guitar, they are unknows. It is only the reactions of the professionals that interest me, and I thank Van Halen, Pink Floyd, Dragonforce, Dream Theater, Jason Becker, Steve Vai for their congratulatory tweets!"
