When Tina toured New Zealand in early 90's Wellington we didn't have a stadium at the time and she performed the Wintershow grounds it's like barn with bad acoustics great performance from Tina it really let her vocals down she sounded thin. Being a musician myself I really know how frustrating that would of been but, she soldiered on. Now that's class.❤

What an interesting woman. I've learned more about Tina Turner the last few days than she was at her peak in the 80's. She was smart, good at marketing herself, and a hard worker. I have new found respect for what Tina Turner accomplished during her career and life. A strong, confident person.

@@chrissimpson6701 How do you know what people have accepted before they took their last breath? Not only is it rude, but as a spiritual person myself, I will tell you that it is spiritually dangerous to say people are in hell when you have no idea where they are. A person can be a serial killer and still ask God for forgiveness and accept God before they die. Since you are quoting the Bible, you should know that.

If you had Diana Ross, Dionne Warwick, Aretha, Patti Labelle in a room alone, do you think this conversation would the same? There are always disparities. You can look at Barbra Streisand in comparison to any of the women I mentioned. Tina is one of those who's main desire was to be palatable, but I understand why. There really isnt much space today to have these conversations, let alone 40 years ago.

I will say Tina is in the middle, Aretha has the clearest tone but a lot of soul, Janis has that raspy, sultry sound to her and Tina ties the two together. Her voice is more solid than Janis but more gritty than Aretha. That's why I love me some Tina, she does it all.
