What I like about dyson is that they make things compatible with previous models. Their mantra is that you use their products for life and don’t have to change it every year.

Loved this video! So helpful to know which attachments to upgrade to. Really happy they didn't change the way it attaches so you can use these on the original 🙌🏼

I wish Dyson would sale the unit and let choose the attachment we want to purchase. Not everyone needs or wants them all . Also it would make it more affordable.

I finally just broke down and purchased the air wrap recently and it is the best thing I've ever purchased I have very short hair it only goes to my chin and it shaved all the way around except for the top. The amount of curls I'm able to do with this makes my hair look just like Marilyn Monroe! I am so in love with this product I wish I had purchased it years ago but I cannot wait for the upgraded barrels!

Pro tip: i have the old curling barrels and you don't have to switch barrels to change the direction, just hold it upside down on one side and normally on the other 😁 saves you so much time cause you never have to let go of it or change hands to use it! I have hair past my waist and with this method my hair goes from wet straight out of the shower to curled in 15 minutes 😍 save your money if you already have the old version!

This was SO HELPFUL! I’ve been trying to find someone talking through the new dryer because honestly you look at it and at first have no idea how it’s supposed to work! But this was helpful!

They need to offer long or short barrels as a part of the initial kit. You shouldn't have to buy long barrels in addition & then have short barrel attachments you can't use. 🙄

I’ve been on the fence about buying the Dyson air wrap as I have a really good heat styling tools already but the new copper and silver colour way as well as the functionality of these new attachments has me excited to get it. Thankyou for your in-depth review.

They should offer a trade in option for the curling barrels if you have all the old ones. I know alot of people paid for the longer barrels lol.

I am now gonna hold off and buy the long barrels for these type of ones… I just got mine a month ago when I cashed all my ulta points in. I always said traveling with it with double barrels for each side would be so annoying.

I can’t wait till it’s available in the US. I never curl my hair with it because of the old barrel style but I did like how it looked. Definitely upgrading the curling barrels. Not sure about the other attachments except maybe the smaller round brush

The game changers for me are the higher power, new dryer head and not having to change the curler attachments. I haven't gotten it yet, but I ordered the longer barrels and can't wait to try it!! It's SUPER expensive!!! I got the first one with a 20% off coupon, but this one I paid full price for. Oh well.

But you should keep in mind that maybe your hair wrapped around the new barrel better because the airwrap filter is new and clean. It is known that around the time the filter needs to be cleaned, the barrels tend to not grip as effectively. Thank you for the great, much needed video 💕🙏

One of the criticisms is that the curls don't last long and uncurl in less than 30 minutes. Can you comment on how long the curls last? Seems expensive if curls start drooping after 15 minutes.

I really love mine. It’s also great to only pack one tool if you travel fairly regularly. Is it worth $600? That really depends on the person, but the convenience really goes a long way for me.

Can't wait to try it! Just ordered the new version, I've wanted it for a while since I'm tired of using separate tools for different styles. Also I have a LOT of flyaways and it'll be nice to change that.

Did the curls last any longer than the old curls would last? I never have trouble with curls falling out except when I use my dyson, they last like 4 to 6 hours and turn into waves or just straight 😭

I'll be honest the old dryer attachment looks so much cooler and futuristic then the new one!

I got the original Airwrap for Christmas last year and I will definitely be upgrading to the new curling barrels! So much more convenient using one barrel instead of two! Edit: I just went on the site and they’re all sold out 😭😭
