In this episode of Tina Tries It, I’ll be changing things up! Instead of testing out a new product, I will be trying a new form of art- jagua tattooing!
I’ve invited Singapore’s first Jagua Tattoo Artist, See Min Ng to give me a quick crash course on jagua tattooing then I’ll be doing the real thing on my boyfriend Alfred. Wish me luck! 😬

Oh my gosh that girl doing the jagua could make BANK here in the U.S. too. She did that shit FREE HANDED she's better than most tattoo artists I've ever seen! That was amazing.

I had lots of fun filming this video and I hope you enjoyed watching it! 😊 I'm working on a pottery video next, so stay tuned for that! In the mean time, if you have suggestions for future episodes of Tina Tries It, please comment below! Some ideas I have are: baking, calligraphy, Kpop dance, singing and bubble soccer (can you imagine Alfred and I doing that 😆) Let me know if you have any other ideas! P.S. I would rate Tina's effort as a 10/10. I have often thought that, being a make up artist takes an artistic flair (of course) and I think Tina could take up painting or some other craft work. I will not say POOR ALFRED this time because I think he really scored lol. Great new intro and format--I have been watching Tina since I discovered her trying US snack foods and I never miss an episode.

@@Kaiivex I don't think the other one was started using a stencil. If you look closely you can see the differences between his arm and the picture. If it were stenciled those would have been pretty identical.

@Sara I'm talking about the one the pro did. It would have looked quite a bit better if it had been stenciled. Tina used a stencil and did a pretty great job at it. The first one, the one the pro did, its easy to tell the differences between his arm and the picture. The skull is differently shaped.

This is incredibly cool, I absolutely love the idea of having a temporary tattoo that can be drawn on so intricately. Have to try it asap. Also, Min looks so out of this world. I absolutely adore her style. And the way she just freehanded it!

This is my favorite type of content from you :) I’ll watch you try anything. I know you’ve mentioned that you’re not sure if you still want to pursue the makeup path, so if you don’t post makeup tutorials anymore, I’m ok with that, just please keep trying stuff! It’s my favorite. Lol it’s fun to watch and educational at the same time! Like, I didn’t know this type of tattoo even existed! Anyways, great video. :)

I’d give you an 8 out of 10. I was actually quite impressed with how detailed you made it look and the shading was impressive. Shading isn’t always easy, no matter what material you use. I would love for someone to do jagua tattoos here in the States because it is so beautiful and is very much like watercolor. Well done, Tina!
