These are Berber musicians from Mali. They performed yesterday (June 16, 2012) at the Clearwater Festival in Croton-on-Hudson, NY -- and they were wonderful. I hope lots of people see them here and share their work.

Tiniwaren are Tuareg musicians from the Sahara Desert region of northern Mali. The band was formed in 1979[ in Tamanrasset, Algeria, but returned to Mali after a cease-fire in the 1990s
