I am really happy she went back to being independent. That was how she got a record deal. She did better, to me, as an independent artist. She wasn't restricted and was able to be more creative. To the point she already had her own fan based and was touring. But when she got signed, of course it was different. Yes you get better resources/support but she also did good on her own. So it's nice to see her go back.

Loved the ending. Kinda felt like this entire music video was ironic because how free and happy Tinashe looks considering how confined we’ve been from COVID. Being on our own has us relying so heavily on social media and detaching us from reality to the point where we can only truly connect with each other through technology and in this case VR. Tinashe is so underappreciated and it makes me sad 'cause she's literally a talented triple threat- she can sing, dance, and has her own visuals (not just herself but with her music videos/choreos) she's always at 100% with dancing and singing during live performances, and yet people still don't give her attention. Not to compare or even make two beautiful, strong, independent queens go against eachother, but CL and Tinashe give me the same vibes with how artistic they are and how they take their time before they release anything. And even some of the things went on during their career. They're both triple threats that don't get enough support. Which is why, they're my dream collab.

it could be because the song is in a minor key (c# minor). usually music in this key can have a foreboding sound
